Acrylic paint on watercolor paper. Mounted and framed. This painting (along with its pair 'Mountain Spires') is comprised of about 12 layers of paint finished with acrylic paint pens. I was never happy with either piece until I painted the royal blue on that neon orange. The red adds definition and accents the deep textures.

Acrylic paint on stretched canvas. I go back and forth about how to display this piece - since it was painted horizontally. Regardless, my eye is constantly drawn to the blue circle and makes me think of what a blue giant star would look like at sunset.
