Acrylic paint on plywood. In December of 2014, a large Luna Moth flew up and landed on my window. I thought it very strange to see a Luna Moth in the daytime and in December. It flew away in such a funny zigzag pattern that I realized it must have been cold. I started imaging what this moth's trail might look like, and the green stokes of my palette knife almost happened on their own. Maybe this was a tiny Christmas fairy, on its way to give children sweet holiday dreams...

Acrylic paint on watercolor paper. Matted and framed. This piece was inspired after watching Aladdin with my nieces. The scene in which Genie describes having 'phenomenal cosmic powers' inspired me to pick up my paintbrush.
