Acrylic paint on stretched canvas frame. This painting was completed in two parts. I laid down white, yellow, red, and pink paint and began to work them into a patterned background, however, I had just watched a documentary on flamingos several days earlier and became inspired. I began reworking the paint into the feather pattern you see. It was only after it dried that I came back and added the accents in blue, and gold.
